Iceland Glacier Racing

Somehow I ended up participating in a 3 day mountain bike race around a glacier in Iceland. I don't really mountain bike much, but I'm always down for adventure. It was quite a challenge shooting, collecting footage, interviewing, and ...well...racing the bike all at the same time.

We ended up shooting and writing some great stories while there...

The landscape was like from another planet. These photos in no way do justice to the incredible feelings of awe and isolation you get while in a place like this.

As a photographer I found it quite difficult to photograph because

1) racing with all of the gear being easily accessible

2) handling the variety of light conditions that are as ever changing as the climate of Iceland can be difficult
